This turbo kit comes with a nice Tubular stainless steel header. This kit has a very responsive GT28 turbo. The focus fanatics magazine has described this kit as having a small block V8 put into the focus. This kit will produce good HP and good low end torque.


The new Focus Turbo Kit for 2000-03 Ford 2.0L DOHC Zetec engines is our latest offering for Ford Focus owners looking for extra horsepower at a moderate price!

This new kit features a Garrett GT Technology GT28 tubocharger. This unit features a ball bearing design and advanced aerodynamics package for quick spooling along with an adjustable integral wastegate actuator.

Included is a Precision high efficiency air-to-air intercooler featuring bar and plate, high density construction. The kit also includes a custom designed stainless steel exhaust header, mandrel bent aluminum tubing, heavy duty oil recirculation pump, 75mm mass air unit, cast aluminum inlet adapter pipe and upgraded fuel management system. All necessary hardware comes with the kit.

Initial dyno tests have show that use of this kit will produce 225 horsepower at the front wheels on a typical stickshift Focus with 87-octane fuel. Cars with automatic transmissions produced 185 horsepower.

This kit is design for the zx3. You would need to modify a few things to make it work on a svtf. The down pipe and inlet pipe for the intake manifold would need to be modified You would also need custom tuning. There might be a few other things, but that would be the main stuff.

comes with chip, injectors, and 75mm mass air unit.

Does the chip have a basic tune to start you of with or is it a blank chip that requires you to get a tune burned onto it

The chip comes with a basic tune to start with. We just need to know your ecu code, so precision turbo can make the chip.

Hmm, I have a SCT chip... already. I could have an exhaust shop make a new downpipe. HMM sounds alright keep going with this. Would I still have to buy the whole kit or could you help me get the parts I would need.

check sport compact car, their svt project car has a modified version of the precision kit on it. From their write ups it seemed to be quite a bit of work, but good luck if you try it.
