Wires installed. They are numbered and have a nice protective boot. You will also need to regap your plugs to .065". A usefull tip is to put a drop of oil onto the threads of the spark plug. Since the plugs and head are differing metals, they are more likely to fuse together over time. When this happens, you can break off the plug in the head or strip out the plug threads. Either way, it's bad news. The oil will make removing the plugs later easier, and will cut down on the oxidation that fuses the parts together. When you are gapping your plugs, especially if you are running Platinum plugs....DO NOT PRY BETWEN THE ELECTRODE AND THE TIP!! You will damage the platinum tip!

Coil comes with four new hex head screws to complete the install. Total install time was 1/2 hour. Worth the money, YOU BET!

I run the NGK's as well. I regapped them. Just pry on the electrode, not the tip. You can EASILY break off the Iridium tip and then you're SOL!!

Yeah, your going to need to regap the plugs. Doing so helps promote a complet burn of the fuel, and this also helps lengthen the life of the plug. If you don't regap, the spark is going to be to hot and burn out the plug faster.

Like what waterboy mentioned " use pliers to pry on the electrod NOT the tip." The tips on the plugs are easliy breakable for I have done this. You can get a gap measuring tool from autozone for like less than a dollar.

Hey guys, I was wondering can I regap my stock plugs? If that may not be a good option, what is a good choice of replacement plug and why?
