Hello from newbie

Hi Guys,
Been lurking here for several months and finally bought a 2013 Titanium last month and absolutely love the car. While this is our first Ford car since the 60's, I've driven nothing but Ford trucks for many years and currently own a 2010 F250 Lariat. Thought I would post some general comments after the first 1000 miles.

What I have been blown away by:
The smooth ride with little road noise like many compacts.
The looks. We get compliments everywhere we go.
The ergonomics.

What we really love:
The fuel mileage. We know that calculations up to this point would not be meaningful but the lie-o-meter has been showing about 29mpg with about 80% city driving.
All the whistles and bells on the Titanium, especially the smart key.

We can only find one fault with the car so far and that is the chrome dash vent trims. The chrome reflects in the outside mirrors. I hope to replace the trip with black ones or just paint them black.

Looking forward to a long membership here.

I used a lots of the knowledge here in choosing the Focus. I buy only American products when I can and don't like Chrysler products, so I had narrowed the choice down to the Focus or Cruz. But actually it took little reading to zero in on the Focus over the Cruz.

I've tinted the windows but don't have any immediate plans for any upgrades or addons.
