65mm throttle body help.

I recently bought a CFM 65mm throttle body for my ATX along with the bracket. The problem is, the bracket didn't come with bolts. Could someone tell me what size bolts I need? Thanks in advance.

I would've thought bolts came with it. Guess if I order this I need to find out bolt sizes first.

I bought it used and the guy who i bought it from wont email me back to tell me what bolts he used. Also I wend to lowes, homedepot, autozone, menards and none of them have any that even closely fit at all. So that's why I posted on here asking if anyone knew what size they were. Also the 2 screws for the tps cause the stock ones don't work at all either I cant find any screws or bolts that fit any of the 5 holes on the TB.

I would try contacting CFM tomorrow. Explain to them your situation, and ask them if they can tell you what size bolts you need for everything.

I wouldnt think that it would be much different from my BBK, which used all the factory bolts, but we also had to modify my factory throttle cable bracket.

No the ones for cfm are WAY smaller than the factory ones even the TPS screws are smaller than factory. I don't see why they couldn't have just made it so the factory bolts work.

Who knows, but I still recommend trying to contact CFM for the sizes.

Don't know if you ever got the info you needed but my Focus Central 65mm TB used 4mm-.70 x10 machine screws on the TPS and 5mm-.80 on the bracket although I had to tap the TPS to use the 5mm-.80 because of the previous owner using sheet metal screws instead of the correct machine screws. I found mine at Lowes in the section where they have various screws, washers etc. in the gray drawers. Look for the one with metric machine screws.

Haven't had a chance to mount the TB yet but it's sitting in the basement waiting for some spare time.

You can't possibly use stock TPS screws in metal, they are plastic self cutting screws. Find a well equipped ACE hardware store and find the bolts all day long, the places mentioned carry very little metric off the well beaten path. 5 MM. screws as well as 7 MM. can be hard to find anywhere else other than hardware store.

It kills me when people cannot even sort out correct screws, that screams 'problems ahead!'........................................if you gotta ask then questionable whether you can do the work. Or, super lazy there. One or the other. Com'on, you're saying to the world, I cannot put on my part because I don't know what screws it takes! Krikey!

I would say if one has to ask then get off your butt and go get familiar with the screws section....................you NEED it if you are going to work on cars, and even more when you start modding them. A major one of the skillsets needed there.
