Best sounding exhaust?

I know that's such a question is going to be subjective, but in your personal opinion what has been your favorite sounding exhaust system , some of the choices I'm looking at borla, Magnaflow, flowmaster? Any suggestions? I just don't want to invest the time and effort to purchase, ship, and install something that doesn't bring a smile to my face when. I get the revs up. Thanks, Jeff

I was never real happy with any exhaust when I was na but when I had the turbo on my svt I loved my magnaflow with the resonator. It was a 3" turbo back set up

Svts exhaust flow pretty good. I did the lunch box delete and removed muffler.
So now all there is, is a resonator and cat.
Put strait pip in only have $100 bill in it

Sounds good but some people say its too loud... But I disagree:D

Borla. I love mine, the deep tone just can't be beat. I have the true Borla version (not Trubenz) that has the resonator and muffler. My only complaint is that I'd like it to be just a bit louder, so I might go HFC or ORP eventually.

Agreed, love the Borla on my SVT. Got to love when the RPMs get about 4000 too. Many compliments.

I have heard a magnaflow system and it sounds good, but I would choose Borla over it everytime

+1. I love my Borla. It bellows like a raging bull. Didn't know how good it sounded till one day the wife and I swapped cars on the way home. She had to pass me and I couldn't believe how deep it sounded. No rice here.

I agree. I have the Borla cat back with a CFM HFC and i love it. its deep and loud and very smooth. I love it. I also have a short ram intake a i like out the car sounds at high RPM with that over the CAI i used to have. Again you should go with the Borla, its expensive but very worth it. Good luck.

Thanks so much for the feedback, Do all these different choices work with california smog? I do find the smog laws here very restrictive but ohh well, life goes on. If a system does conform to ca law I guess like others I could just keep the factory stuff and change it out as needed.
