GETRAG HELP... plz

Hey y'all... The Kraken has sprung a leak.. well two actually.. and I could use y'alls help.
I know my way around a car and how to work on them.. but engine components/tranny work aren't really my expertise.
How severe is this? and how much am I looking to spend to fix it. it appears to be Transmission fluid and not oil, but I am not 100% on this.

that puddle took all of like five minutes... fml

and then leak number 2. Its on the backside of the tranny, above the cv shaft.

i think this is the culprit. any ideas as to what it is?
i'm not the greatest with engine parts.. i just know how to disassemble/put back together. don't know what everything is

short video.
you can see it perfectly at 0:10

Any help would be greatly appreciated. The car has 148k and is still kicking. I have noticed a slight increase in hanging revs when I try to quickly shift into second and sometimes third.

Thanks in advance,
Daniel

With that amount of fluid if it is brake fluid from your slave cyl then check it and it should be empty , my guess its full

Looks like trans fluid or engine oil , sense the back of the fly is dry in the picture I am guessing trans fluid ????

First leak is by the slave cylinder, check the brake fluid level in reservoir. If it's still full over there then it may be transmission fluid leaking, but the thing is, there should be no transmission fluid leaking through slave cylinder seal unless the rear main seal is busted, which would explain the second leak.... and... and would mean you're eating your clutch.

thinking over it twice, it may be just the wiper fluid, did you check it? :P

Need to check the Brake Fluid in the day time.
i was pissed off and not thinking straight and checked power steering (i know i have a very slight weeping leak from the reservoir there).

i am pretty sure it is tranny fluid.. although i would hope it wasn't that dark since we flushed it a couple months ago when i put in new axles.

it really doesnt look like oil. the viscosity doesnt feel like it and it has no sheen to it.

but there is a definite leak in both places...

and the hanging revs i noticed might have actually been the clutch starting to slip.
to be honest, this is my first manual car so certain things, i have no prior exp with.

Transmissions are just a whole different aspect that i have never in my life dealt with.

i am thinking of going with the LUK oem replacement. What is the max torque it can handle? anybody know? i want to do a mild boost build for the road course out this way and don't want to have to replace everything once i get some more power.

well, it looks like i will likely go with a LUK clutch kit, maybe a fidanza flywheel, and then if i can swing it a quaiffe LSD..
is it really that much better than the Torsen?

Can't use a fidanza fly wheel with the luk clutch kit.
