Interior trim missing? (Pic)

I just purchased this Focus Sedan and was wondering if there is supposed to be a molding here at bottom of rear glass (interior). I have a clunk going over certain bumps and seems to be the carpet pad not being secured well.

Nope that is the way it came from the factory, at least it matches mine.

120k I pulled the tire and jack still clunked. Put shims in upper shock mounts, new sway bar links. Sounds like right rear and up higher. Only does it on "sharp" bumps.
