well... i hit something... SVT

going down the highway, just took my 03 svt through the car wash, pretty girl in the passenger sea,t omw to Boston when BOOM!!! the car in front of me coasts over what looks like a big hydraulic pump in the middle of the lane! which gets tossed around, lands under my car spewing oil everywhere and cracking my right rear wheel and damaging my right front. slapped on the donut, went home and borrowed the old man's fusion for the rest of the night.
now... what to do... it's going to the body shop monday for a previous encounter with a high school girl and a corolla... dealer says back wheel is done-for and maybe even the front too... i have access to a tire machine and balancer. do i claim insurance (already high since i'm only 18) anyone in the area have some extra svt rims laying around? opinions/ comments appreciated. ill pull the tires off in a few days to check internal damage.

1st of all= Thats a bummer. Next time wash your car at home 1st. I'd buy another wheel, maybe the bodyshop can get you a deal on it.

I've bent so damn many 6 spoke svt wheels its not funny. 5 before I sold the car they were on, and always on the inside.
You'll find it's more to repair or find a used at a junkyard, than buy a new one at the place I suggested. they are pretty quick shipping too.

One thing you might want to check is whether or not, in your state, it could be considered a claim under comprehensive. I know in Virginia a comprehensive claim cannot be held against your driving record. Plus, it's usually a lower deductible.
