2004 ZTS Fuel Door replacement
Hey guys, I am brand new to FocusFanatics and so far this site is legit.
I thought I'd kick off my presence seeking some advice. I am the owner of a 2004 ZTS and it has been a wonderful car. I wish I had treated it better as a young car owner, because now I am going back and fixing some of the problems I have caused it. One problem in particular is not my fault, my fuel door has been snapped off for a little over a year now. I have browsed ebay for replacement doors, and I have seen aftermarket ones as well. Has this problem happened to anyone else? If so, what did you do to fix it. I'm not trying to spend a bunch of money on the fuel door, because that will take away from the other upgrades I plan to give my car. Any feedback would be great. Thanks! |

Fixing it is actually not that difficult. Just need some patience and time to do it properly. Here is a how-to on replacing the fuel door with an aftermarket one. If you go through the steps it shows you how to remove the stock one, just go so far as to remove it then reverse the order to install a another one that you get from a scrapyard. Just click on the link I have here>>Fuel door Clicky<<
