Air intake kits

I'm in the market for a air intake to mate up with my Steeda throttle body. I do know I don't want a cold air intake because I have heard bad things about them sucking water in rain etc. With all the choices out there I was wondering if you guys could help me narrow it down. I have been looking at the K&N 69-3511. Also I have researched other threads on the forum but they are rather old and I was wondering if opinions have changed.

Buy a drop in K&N panel filter and spend the $ you saved else where.

Very easy to install. Instructions with pics inside.
Heat shield works good!
Buy a filter sensor spray and clean the sensor!
