need stiff rear shocks.
Im looking for some rear shocks. Im lowered 2" and also have a bunch of weight in the truck. Bottoming out all the time.
Will be adding even more weight to the trunk soon.. 2 HDC4 12s (70ish pounds each) plus 2 more 60 pound batteries. So around 350 pounds in the trunk. Plus if I ever have people in the back seat their ass is broke by the end of the night.

the springs are what carries the weight not the shocks. you can get some better shocks that will help keep it riding smoother with that weight, but ultimately you would need some heavier duty springs to keep the weight from slamming the car down on every bump.

Ill be contacting Coil spring specialties to get some custom springs for the rear.

I would seriously look into some aibags that go inside of the coils - you get your load capacity without killing ride quality - plus they are adjustable..
The 90's F150 trucks have coils up front and you can get airbags that go inside, I wonder if they would fit in the rear focus coils...  http://www.suspensionconnection.com/...con/4102f.html
