Cool-flo?
I have three questions:
1.) What is the point of the emission cap? 2.) Did any one else have trouble putting on that cap? 3.) Since I couldn’t get the rubber cap on the emissions port but I got a pop cap to fit snug it takes some force to get it off, can I leave it like that untill i get the rubber on. |

The one on mine cracked after a couple months of use. FSwerks sent me a new one free. FYI if yours cracks too. Its just to block off that port. The older dtecs have emissions equipment that hooks up there.

I have an older 2.3L Duratec (2004). I have no emission crap that hooks up on the secondary hole. (Primary being PCV) Mine is blocked off with a cap too.

So mote be it

It was a tight fit... I used the handle on a screw driver to stretch it out a little bit. My one screw driver was just about the right size, had a roundish knob handle lol.
Still was a tight fit getting it on but it went on eventually. |

Finally it took me longer to get this damn cap on then it did for taking out the stock box and installing the Cool-flo. Coke cap is gone, but know we know what we can use as a last resort.

The cap that came with mine seemed so out of tolerance the OD of the cap was smaller than the ID of the port.
I simply put it in the inside of the port, with the "top" of the cap towards the center of the intake. Been at WOT and it's never dislodged itself. Probably better air flow, too |
