mirror caps

So, halfway to work this morning I noticed that my drivers side mirror cap was gone... of course I have kona blue so I won't find another painted one, anyone think it's covered with warranty? I guess what I'll do is buy a new unpainted one, then wrap them in vinyl

That's what I'd like to know. It's not even all that easy to pry off, much less to just fall off.

Check EBay before buying a new cap. Junkyards -- oh, excuse me, auto recycling centers -- are all on EBay now, and you may be able to find one already painted, even in Kona Blue. It may be half the price of a new one.

Then again, the junkards may want to sell you an entire mirror assembly. In any case, it's worth checking.
