Replacing Michellin PS3 tires

18k in and replacing the PS3 with Nitto Motivo 235/40ZR18. I have read nothing but good things about these tires. Will see next week, plus going on long trip to Tampa/StPete mid-month.

Just got a good deal at the time. Still have some mileage on them almost at the wear line.

What is your experience with the PS3s and your new tires as far as noise is concerned?

the PS3's only have a rating on 20,000 miles so 18 k isnt to bad. I think the tire is awsome but its a bit load on our bumpy colorado roads

I know the manufacture PSI is 39, but the Michelin site says 30psi. I actually lowered them to 35psi and what a ride difference. No harsh but not floaty either. Anyone actually lower below 39psi

The Michelin site is wrong. Follow the Ford number.

I see even wear @ 39 PSI, but do agree the ride is a tad harsh.

That's why I plan to change over to Continental ExtremeContact DW next time. I love those tires.

Just had Motivo 235/40ZR18 95W install last night and there are actually a very quite tire. That is actually the only thing that seems different from the PS3. The measured cabin noise is 59db coasting at 60mph and it was 60-61db with the PS3. I have them at 35psi but it was 41F this morning. Anyway these are 60k Ultra High Performance A/S tires.
