Green Brake Fluid?
Yes, you read that correctly. The brake fluid in my Focus is a distinct dark green color and I don't know why. I've changed the fluid in the master cylinder several times and will keep doing so until the fluid is a normal color. The brakes operate normally and everything else is fine.
What I can't figure out is why the brake fluid is green. Only brake fluid has been put into the master cylinder. I've never seen this before. Has anyone else here ever come across this? I'm stumped. |

It's the old fluid. You need a complete flush if you want to rid yourself of it. Need to drain that resivoir and clean it out too. Seen this in my 99 suburban.
