Fiesta ST UK Pricing has been leaked?

I found a few places that have leaked UK Fiesta ST pricing.

Fiesta ST ST1: £16,995
Fiesta ST ST2: £17,995.

Focus ST ST1 in UK: £21,995.
Focus ST ST2 in UK: £23495

Based on this comparision, knowing the Focus ST ST1 is $24,450 in the U.S., and ST2 = $26955

24450/21995 = 1.1116

16995*1.1116 = $18,891 for an ST1 Fiesta

26955/23495 = 1.147

17995 * 1.147 = $20,645 for an ST2 Fiesta.

Thoughts?

19K is a great price. Isn't a loaded 5 speed Fiesta like 17 and change?

I know someone is going to chime in and say use the exchange rate, but that simply doesn't make sense, cars are CRAZY expensive in the U.S.

Example:

Current UK exchange rate is 1.58 US dollars to a British Pound. At £21,995 in the UK using the exchange rate would be $34,752 for an ST1 Focus ST in the U.S.

I think my logic above is more realistic.

thats very attractive pricing for the ST1 if that's true. Seems like it wont be far off either because of the math you used on the focus ST comparo

The base Focus Hatch is 19245, $3000 more than the sedan, the ST $24495 or $5250 up charge for the ST package. The Fiesta Hatch is $14745 only $1000 more than the sedan. So if the up charge be at most $5250 making the Fiesta ST would be $19995 or less.

Since we can figure the Fiesta ST upcharge is likely a bit less, $19k isn't out of the realm of possibility for a base Fiesta ST...

You can't compare the base S sedan to the SE hatch, the SE sedan is just $1000 less than the hatchback. The base S model is much less well equipped.

Missed that S to SE model change. And since the $5250 up charge for the Focus St is off the SE model. And the Fiesta SE is $16200 the St package will probably put it under $21000.

I've been keeping my eye on the fiesta st as a possible replacement for my svtf. Still hoping for the fiesta RS though.
