Boot(Trunk) lock opens when I walk past!
Hi,
I have a 07 Focus saloon with connection (keyless entry etc). When I walk past the trunk (with the key in my pocket) the lock on the trunk opens, releasing the lid and then the lock starts to click open and closed. With 'connection' on the car the trunk lock should only open if I try to pull the trunk open. Has anyone come across this issue before? Any help would be appreciated Thanks |

Trunk button stuck on keyless? We call it a key fob. About all I can figure is that either something got stuck inside the key fob, or the button itself is stuck.

Thanks whynotthinkwhynot. Hadn't thought of that.
Key fob issue - It probably isnt this as this would probably run down the battery on the key? The battery life has been pretty good - 1 yr plus. I do have 2 keys though so I will test with the spare. Trunk button - This is probably more likely. I will see if there is anything obviously wrong with the button. Will probably have to drop it into the garage to have it checked. Thanks for your help |
