Turbo install help

I started installing my Top Speed Turbo kit.

1. I did not get any bolts to connect the down pipe to the turbo housing. Does anyone know what size bolts go into the housing to hold the downpipe on? Its 4 bolts.

2. What did everyone that turbo their focus do with the power steering cooler? I unbolted it from the bumper and thought about just cutting the brackets off it and sandwich it between the radiator and intercooler. Any other thoughts?

3. Anyone with a Top Speed kit - Does the blow off valve sit upside down? If you look at my photo of my piping mock up the pipe with the BOV, does that look correct?

I believe the bolts are m1.85 size. I had to call precision to double check. since mine is a four bolt discharge as well. and the ps line for the hot side tube I bent it upward to allow more clearance. I have that pipe tucked as far up towards the radiator as possible. when I first had everything installed I thought I was going to run over a speed bump and have the pipe yanked off

then I tucked the hose and that pipe is no where near as visible anymore. and doesn't matter the direction of the bov, and btw good luck drilling into the crash bar, I went through like 4 bits before I bought a diamond bit

I got it. I put the PS cooler in front of the Intercooler. Then I will make a couple brackets to mount it there to the bumper.



I think this is it, everything is lining up perfect!

idk if I have that kind of cooler in my 01 but there was a lot of hydraulic lines I remember fussing around with and tucked behind the intercooler

i just noticed you have an 01 as well lol. are you running an atx ?

This year I am doing a new built motor and Lentech.

I thought I would throw the turbo on the stock motor for now for the hell of it.

I had a thought that the turbo housing down pipe bolts would be the same as the exhaust manifold and they are! So I dont have to figure that out anymore.

mine were different. good luck with everything else. when my buddy carl aka cjohn364 dynod his car with his atx it was like 202whp. im sure its been fixed since I jus thope you don't ge the same problem

Because it fit best that way.

I dont see a problem with it yet or possible at all.
