A VIN number would probably be more help, or a clear picture of the VECI sticker under the hood of the car somewhere. Look for a white sticker with a schematic on it- somewhere on there should be the engine displacement. If you don't have that, maybe it's only required in my country, then give us the 8th digit in the VIN from left to right. The second digit of the VIN is F. The first is the country of manufacture, so no idea what that might be- maybe a G? I'm only giving that information so that you will be sure of which side to read it from. The 8th digit should be the engine code, and you should be able to look that up online- search for VIN decoder. It shouldn't matter where the car is made, VINs are global since like '95 or so.

Intake runner and injectors on the front of the motor... the only Zetec that had that was the 1.6L Zetec? The VIN would confirm. Also found usually on the driver side door.

That's a 1.4 or 1.6 Zetec SE engine, not available in North America.
Your VIN number details should provide confirmation. European VIN decoder here: http://www.talkford.com/page/VIN%20Decoder http://www.rockauto.com/ has some euro parts. Check the Euro flag at the top when you get to the parts catalog. |

Yes that looks like it.
Your VIN Decoded The VIN code WF0FXXWPDF3E68493 breaks down as Manufacturer Identifier: WF0 Body type: 4 Door Saloon Line: Ford Spain (Own Assembly) Assembly Plant: Valencia (Spain) Model: Focus Year: 2003 (some codes are used for more than one year) Month: April Production Sequence: 58493 The engine size, should show in your License papers for the car. Engine is 1,4 or 1,6l they share most of its parts |

Ford Europe VIN Decoder
I see that European Fords don't have an engine code in the VIN, so my earlier response was incorrect. There is no international standard for VINs. On US Fords, there is an engine code in the VIN. Apparently, on European Fords the VIN Plate Key Card is what you have to find. It might be in a door, or behind the glove box- who knows. At least this link above will show you what it looks like. I don't even know if it's a sticker or a stamped metal plate.
