Anyone near 15.0 in a 2012+ N/A Focus?
^^ What the title says, anyone getting near 15.0 with some mods? I have seen some 170+whp dyno sheets. Have any of you guys been to the track? If 145whp ish nets a 15.8 with a good drive, I'd like to see what some of you can run!
Just my curiosity I guess...

I haven't seen a confirmed 15.8 run except from the car rags and the very few confirmed 1/4 mile runs on this forum have been in the mid 16s.
Getting a solid 170whp should get you close to the 15.0 mark and I wonder if it can be done with a DCT.

dude, it is about 6 degrees where you are. I don't think many people are out dragging right now. Now that I sound like a dick, I would wonder what a 12+ with intake and exhasut and a 5 spd would run *clears throat*
I owned 2 ST models before this one, and this one is faster . . .

The cars definitely feel spunky, even on 87 octane bone stock.
Wanted to check mileage differential under a mostly controlled environment post-first oil change and prior to moving to 93 octane and adding more mods, so hopefully more performance will be coming soon to my gray hatch.

The question is, why are we drag racing a front wheel drive car built to be a corner carver? It just sounds destined to be an expensive, disappointing endeavor.

I don't think it was built to be a corner carver. I think it was built for fuel economy. But why ask why? There's been FWD cars going to the track to drag race for years.

I think it's just a guage to see how much power and results you are seeing from that power. The 1/4 mile is a universal measurement.

I dynoed at 175 and took it to the strip this past weekend, good DA but no track prep and I hit consistent 16.2s @ 89mph. If there was prep and/or I had a sticky tire on it I should be closer to mid 15s.
