P1518 and P1246 on my SVT
Hello all. My CEL has been going on and off for the last few weeks. Had the codes pulled and it is showing the dreaded 1518 along with the 1246. I am thinking I will have to learn to solder and try cleaning the IMRC, but is it possible these are related?
Symptoms: Over the last few weeks I have noticed a drop in MPG - usually I can push about 300 miles out of a tank and am currently getting about 250. I also live in MI so I have serious RPM hang in the cold weather - 3-4,000 RPM's for about 5 seconds until the engine warms up. This has happened for the life of the car and I was always told this was normal, now am wondering if it was this IMRC all along...
