Led tail signal question

Say i hit the signal indicator to turn right.....what does the tail light look like? Do all the led's blink, just the middle, the outer rim?

just the middle I've heard of people modding them so both blink or just the outer leds blink, by default only the inner led's blink.

Hmm okay, thanks. I did see that mod where when not breaking(just driving with lights on) only the outer rim is on and the middle turns on when signaling but I have no idea how to do that nor do I think I should attempt it!
