Have you looked anywhere on this site? There are lots of threads about this subject.

-Tune
-SVT header
-exhaust
-intake


After you're done with bolt-ons, you'll have to tear into the engine and change some of the internals.

this...
could also try an adjustable cam gear to retard your timing.. but that isn't the easiest thing..

Adjustable cam gears need to be dyno tuned in order to gain any benefit from them.




To the OP, HERE is a list of the sticky threads for the Zetec performance section. I highly recommend reading through some of them, it has all the info your asking about in them.

What type of tune would you suggest I don't even know where I would take it for that there are not a lot of shops that do that sort of thing here I have an intake and a mild exhaust

personally, i have tom's tune and absolutely love it..
free updates as long as you stay N/A...

i know fswerks has tunes and a few other people..

Don't need a shop for a tune. Talk to Tom (1turbofocus) he will set you up with a tune and walk you through every step of the way! I have his tune and love it
