LED light question?

I just installed led lights in the dome lights in the front & back of my 2010 se. Problem is after I shut the door & the light slowly fades out it barely stays lit. Even after getting out the dome lights stay very dimly lit both over the front seat & back. Come back to it after a while & they are completely out but while driving they are dimly lit & never go out. It never did this with the regular bulbs only after the led. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks for any help.

When you have the light set to go on with the door there is still a very small amount of curent running thru the system. LED's require next to nothing to power. Hence why the glow because the circuit is still providing a small amount of power. This is normal with LED's in the dome light.

I knew they didn't take very much power but that's amazing that small amount will make them just barely glow. Thanks!

Thats where I got these lights. How long did yours last before they went out 2wheeladict?

Like SkyPilot said they take very little power. I think a resistor my keep them off. That may be incorporated into the more expensive ones.
