Intercooler?
I wonder if the EcoBoost engine has an intercooler. I have not seen any mention of it in any manual or brochure.

The license plate isn't centred on the f150 ecoboost to help the intercooler. I don't know of any recent turbo cars without an intercooler
|

Like said, there is a factory FMIC.
Charging piping comes off the turbo and goes under the motor and transmission. Cold side piping comes around and up into the TB which faces downward at the front of the motor.

Its more than likely the same intercooler that is used on every other 2.0 L EcoBoost application from the Edge to the Explorer, from the Fusion to the Taurus, etc.
