180 degree thermostat
Posted via FF Mobileguys how will fitting a 180 degree thermostat benefit the svt/st 170 and is it just a straight swop .

it wont by itself you need to tune it with SCT, it will turn the fans on sooner via the tuner keep the engine cooler.

I think he has a tune ? Yes its a straight swap , the 180 thermostat comes from a 96 contour 2.0 Zetec engine and drops right into the SVT , make sure you change the o-ring as well
