Right B-Pillar location?

Hey guys!

I'm in the middle of a project, (power mirror conversion) and the wiring diagram indicates a power wire in the "right B-Pillar".

Now, my question is this: How is the left/right side determined? Is the left/right side determined from sitting in the drivers seat? (drivers side is on left, passenger is on right side)

Or, facing in front of the car, so that drivers side is on the right, passenger side is on the left

Here's the schematic I'm using:



I've found the Orange/Blue wire the schematic is referring to, but it's under a kick panel in the floorwell of the drivers side (below the fusepanel, to the left of the clutch/brake/gas pedals).

Now, where exactly is the right B-pillar? I tried looking online for a location, but I haven't been able to find any specific info.

Is it in the front of the car (by/along the dash?) or middle of the car (just past the door jambs?)

A pillar = supports front of roof, sides of windshield

B pillar = behind front doors, supports middle of roof

C pillar = supports rearmost portion of the roof.

This generic description applies to all cars, whether a 2-door, 4-door, car, truck, SUV, etc.

So it would be that pillar where the seatbelt retracts into?
