To wrap roof, or not to wrap roof? That is the question.

Something I have been on the fence about for quite a while, but that's me. I take my time before making changes so that I don't wind up going back later to undo them.

It's simple: wrap the roof in black vinyl, or no? It'd be gloss black, or potentially carbon fiber to match the real stuff on the car.

Regardless I think I'll be getting a quote tomorrow from my manager as I'd likely do this at work with a coworker or two.

If you wrap it properly, it'll look more like the HB. Better looking.....

You've got the best sedan out there, the wrap will keep you out in front!!!

I'll admit to wanting to keep the pace up and see what can be done with these cars. With the Grand Prix approaching what I can call 'done' in terms of modifications, I'm focusing on the new sedan and hoping to inspire others.

Thank you both.

I do believe it'll be a while before we see those hitting the market.

Both, technically. I'd be doing the wrap with a coworker or two at the dealership I work at.

One concern I have with it. At the very least I have some real CF on the car to make up for it. CF vinyl is hard to pull off in my opinion.

Today I spoke to my manager at least to let him know of my idea. I would have the wrap done in our 3M workstation as it's a warm and clean environment, better than a home garage this time of year. The quote for materials and my coworkers' time is decent too, now to make the final call.

In the end I think I'm leaning towards gloss black over CF as well. It'd match the numerous Piano Black pieces on the outside, and still work with the carbon fiber I have.
