some of the catalogs in auto parts stores list the different engines by 1 number of the VIN Sniper is right, "Vin 5" will get you to parts for the SVTF. I forget which digit in the full VIN it is, but there's I think "VIN 3" for the base focus.

Just google what you need, tire rack is pretty good about getting you the right parts, you can google part numbers to.
