MFT 3.5.1 The Good...

While my car was in the shop for my windshield wipers doing the phantom wipe, they installed the new update. Not only is this update much faster with the navigation screens but my Bluetooth phone calls are clearer and easier for me to hear without having to up the volume on the system. Also my MFT screen has the outside temperature added back in the top center of the screen and the added a compass to the display between my gauges. (See pic)

I know many people have a love hate relationship with the MFT but it appears the engineers at Ford are listening to some of the complaints presented by the owners.

Mine has always pointed to the middle. I took it as it saying go left on the directional pad to access trip 1/2 or i etc etc...

It always points to the middle, and always has with the high function MFD even without MFT.

It has done that since day one, indicating that on the left is trip one/trip two/ information/ settings/etc.

Thanks! Was hoping I wasn't crazy or didn't just stumble into another tech issue. So as I said, MFT update is pretty freaking awesome compared to what I had.

That picture was from the second day after I took it home, but it had always pointed there. Besides the car has not been updated in any way shape or form since it was built after the DCT updates were built into the car at the plant and only has sync with myford not mft.

The only difference is that for some reason they decided that MFT should get the darker color scheme for the background of the 4.2" high function MFD TFT LCD.

It was dark, so the headlights were on when I took the picture. I think that explains why my background is darker then yours is the pics.
