MK3 and ST bumper differences
So I hit a deer in the MK3, and I know the person that owns the body shop its getting fixed at. May try to get an ST front bumper out of the deal if it works that way. First off we want to get out of the deductible. Then if there is extra then maybe the bumper. It depends on how much needs replaced. We are definitely going for black housing headlights.
So does anyone know what all is different between the 2? The ST bumper is $88 more than the regular. Plus the grill is $251.17, and fog lights $49.60 ea. And the air dam is $20 more. Does anyone know if the radiator support, crash foam, or any special brackets are different for it? Also the headlights changed in Sept 2012. Anyone know what changed?

That's a little too much for me if I ever want ST bumper. I'll leave it stock and do some CF wrap the grill lip instead. Thanks

I showed my wife the damage and told her your plans with the a ST front with black head lights. She said you hit it on purpose. She was like I bet katie said no, so you made it happen. lol "Happy Birthday Katie...... to me!!"

Is the air intake different? Our focus has the "snorkel" which gets air from the upper grill which is nonexistant in the ST front clip.
edit: looking at pictures of the ST engine bay it looks like it has the same setup for the airbox...
