Whisker Removal?
I saw this diagram on tousley ford.




It got me wondering if the whiskers can be removed for painting? Anyone tried this?

are you talking about the two chrome pieces ,they can be pried out be VERY CAREFUL i used a small screwdriver wrapped in a rag theres 3 plastic clips on bottom(about an inch in on each side and 1 in middle) and 2 on top also a little glue on top side first time its hard to get it out,start on either side and use screwdriver to pry out ,at same time use hand to push clips up on bottom
