Alarm hood pin placement

Hi. I'm looking to mount a hood pin for my alarm system and I was hoping someone could give me some ideas for placement. I have a 2003 ford focus zx5.

Thanks

i prefer to use ball bearing switching. mount it to the hood itself. they fail less than the push style does. only downside is if you park on a hill it may bypass itself.
