New 2002 build

I'm about to start a new 2002 Focus ZR3 build. I do believe it has a double over head cam. The valve cover is black, on left says 16 valve and on right ZTEK. I've just started look into what options I have and I think I want to rebuild the lower end first. then go for the top. The timing belt has jumped and the head needs to go out anyway.
Looking for some info on this build. I live in SW Florida and need to find a good machine shop in the area that does this work.
Any idea's?

Best bet is to go Forced induction. I also see your not that far from where i am! But you have a 2.0 zetec DOHC. How much power do you want to make exactly?

I want to make the lower end bullet proof so I can bolt on what I want later. I do know I want to go with forged rods. Are there better crank bearings? Will the crank hold up? Where do I get parts? Lots of questions!

Must be a rare motor if the valve cover says ZTEK on it.

Especially if it needs machine work after it jumped time. The normal motors are non-interference.

truth... only the SVT motor is an Interference motor.
