4F27E trans

Basically... My question is: will a 4F27E from an 08 Focus 2.0 fit in an 04 Focus 2.0?

no, different bell housings and possibly electronics. But since bell housing is different so it wont bolt up anyways

Don't think you can transfer bellhousing half of case either, each case is custom shimmed to internals of that specific trans to have preload on shafts. Changing case or shafts forces entire resetup of the preloads.
