Hi everyone!
I've been reading that some of you upgraded the ford motor mount for a mazda speed 2 motor mount on the MK3 focus. My question is ... why to do this? any major improvement after that mod? |

To stiffen up the motor so it won't sway back and forth during hard acceleration.

There is a video of the Cobb motor mount in the MK3 ST performance section that shows why a stiffer RMM is paramount. Stock Ford RMM fail.

I did this on monday actually. Very noticable improvement, but the shifts got a little rougher and I have to rev it a bit more to keep it from bogging down. Haven't stalled it, but it seems it'd be easier for it to happen now.
