I've heard the steeda one fades (thats the chrome one, yeah?)

Personally, I just took my leatherman's and chopped the sucker in half, took the orignal antenna tip, then superglued it back in place. Works like a charm! lol

I suggest this as well...Assuming you are just tired of having a huge bumper-car sized antenna on top of your car. It's free and should take you like 15minutes tops. If you dont like it afterwards, then go ahead and buy and aftermarket one

No complaints with the cfm one. Holding up well color wise. You might loose reception sometimes, I do at in the city in certain areas.

I agree, just chop the stocker down, get some boiling water, soak the factory tip in to loosten glue, pull of original tipand stick on new shorter section, when it cools the glue will dry to harden back up like factory.

But of the two I think I've heard more of the CFM one.

I cut my stocker down, but it ended up breaking in two near the base.

I"ve got the C-F-M and in the cities it picks up local stations great but when you get out in the boonies where I live it only picks up the high powered ry stations and some am stations.
