Need some help

So i have had my focus for 2 years now and i love it... i have been slowly modding it and i am at a cross road...

it is my daily driver and i do 20-25k miles a year... i had cai and race exhaust but it droned bad in the cabin and my girlfriend was ready to kill me... so i added a 30'' x6'' round muffler and everything was going great but i hit a wall with modding

i picked up a f2 header and fswerks auto flex pipe and am getting ready fo the install... i think

for my birthday my parents gave me a tune for my car... i was thrilled

my plan was to get 93 oct tune with rear 02delete but not im not sure

with driving so much i was rethinking doing the header install and just getting the tune

i have read that tune with just cai and exhaust is worth it but the header makes the whole package


so i either install the header and then tune or seller the header and flex and do the tune and get tint?

any ideas?

Add the header w/ the tune & have your tuner delete the rear o2 senser & egr.

keep in mind, with the header/tune will be a nice hp gain, but youll get your drone back...

thats my biggest concern.. 50 miles a day driving plus alot of 1000 miles trip to upstate ny... even did a trip to florida once... i should prob justr install the header and do the tune... and if i dont like it i will have a tuned engine and just remove the header

You don't know until you try it. You will find lots of room for another muffler= put your 1st muffler right up to the flex & another one behind that. Add a resonator next to the fuel tank. Some guys have 3-4 mufflers w/ resonators. You having a '09, Have you heard or drove a stock '05-'07 ST? Mine sounds very similair to stock.
