For Sale: Gates timing belt kit TCK294B SVT Focus

My other post got archived and don't know how to revive it? Make me an offer. I will trade too, looking specifically for a roof rack and I can add cash or I'd do the install for you for free if you're local for a roof rack :D.

Quote:
Well ordered 2 since the first kit I ordered took 3 weeks to get because of a screwup on a website. Have no need for this now. This kit comes with the belt and 2 pulleys.

If you're wanting to replace your timing belt, I'll offer this kit. I also have the cam alignment tool that I could rent out(with security deposit) if you buy the kit. I don't have the timing bolt as that broke if you read my thread. I'd recommend getting TDC by removing the cylinder #1 spark plug and using a long screwdriver to turn the crank and when it stops at the highest point, that's your TDC.

This is brand new in the package. I think I paid around $86 for it so I'd like to recoup most of my costs.

No it's the black one. Well at least the other one I bought was black. I haven't opened this one.

Everything that you need is in the kit. I have the timing tool too. Not the pin since that broke but like I mentioned by removing cylinder #1 sparkplug and inserting a rod in there to get TDC.

77K... you're fine, I did mine around 118k on stock belt/pulleys lol.

That's fine. Responded to a few ads on craigslist so hopefully they pan out.

I also recommend doing your water pump and serpentine belt pulley/tensioner since all that comes off anyways.

Sweet. Found a Yakima with fairing and 2 monster bike mounts for $225. Hoping to hear from another guy about the stretch kit!

Took me too long because of the cheap timing pin that broke and that added so much bullshit and time. I can probably do it in 2-3 hours? If you got a garage, I can help out.
