Removing tail lights

wanting to tint my tail lights. i removed all of the plastic covers in the trunk and noticed there are 2 bolted studs that seem to hold the tail light in place. is there any way to getting to the one that's concealed by the framing on the right??? I may not do this if i can't get access to it any ideas?

It'll take a "deep socket" to get to it.

How deep of a socket? where could i get one? It looks like it will have to be a 11 mm hex end as well.

just go to sears or whatever tool store and get a deep socket. there are only three general kinds; shallow, semi deep, and deep. once you get the nuts off it will most likely be kinda snug in there and will take some force (not too much) to get it to pop loose.

Get a deep socket from Home Depot or Walmart.. And yeah it should be 11mm hex.

pretty sure it's a 10mm deep socket, you can get it anywhere.
If you don't have them buy yourself a set
Harbor freight, Sears, walmart, advance auto etc.

I have a 1/4" drive set and the 6 point deep sockets I found wouldn't have been long enough. Would I have to get a socket wrench of bigger drive size (say 1/2") because those sockets for 11mm seemed to be deeper/longer in length.

I'd hate to buy one socket and an expensive socket wrench of bigger size

3/8" drive socket 10MM deep well will work. Hell my 1/4" deep sockets are about 4 inches deep.

Oh yeah.. you dont wana do that.. I've lost a couple like that
