svt clutch help!

Just bought my new to me 2003 focus SVT 5door, Silver with blue seats. 120k miles. I bought it on tuesday, at the time the old owner had been using it strictly as a highway commuter fuel saver, drove great on test drive, mechanic said all was good except for the thermostat leaking. I have driven it about 40 miles since Tuesday on my temp plates. Just today I noticed that the clutch seemed to slip if I floored it in a higher gear. It kept getting worse. just now I needed to move it and it wouldn't stall in first gear foot on brake, clutch out, just kept running. I cant imagine I was that hard on it In such a short period of time. It even seemed fine just yesterday. And about 2 miles ago it would stall in any gear. What's wrong?

clutch you need a new one, if car is in gear and clutch engaged and its not grabbing (its not trying to pull the car) make sure you get the new style TSB clutch

Any suggestions on reasonably priced clutch kits? Anything else I need to replace? How about the dual mass?

What do you mean by post TSB? I'm very knew to SVT and I have never done a clutch job.

The TSB kit has a bigger FW+Clutch Disc also the Pressure plate was revised to make the fingers stronger

I figured it out. The thermostat leak caused coolant to saturate the clutch dissolving it.

Looks like I'm doing the job myself. Anyone know how hard it would be to do at home? There is a video on how to do it on youtube but its for the spi, is there a thread on ff about it? Any special tools needed? Thanks
