Went from This Key fob to....that

So i ordered a switchblade keyfob a while ago , received it today.

was easy , transfered the electronics and moved the transponder into this fob , and had it cut .

Cutting cost me 6 bucks.

What did transferring the electronics and transponder entail?

pull apart the original key fob as if you would change the battery , pull out the circuit board , and put it in the new fob and transfer the battery . Taking the transponder out is a little more tricky as you need to carefully pull the rubber/plastic carrier in key itself to get the transponder out . once you do its simply tape it inside the new FOB , and thats it.

if they don't most any locksmith shop can , they may ask to remove the keyblade from the fob to cut but works the same for damn near free

what about the PATS chip

its just a transponder , it can be taped to the inside of the Fob . to pull out of the key , you just need to gently pull the rubber tab on the key and pull slowly until it comes out ,then thats it.
