Timing Chain Replacement.

Hello, I'm new here, and turned over to these forums when I couldn't find anything on what I need.

I have a 2005 Ford Focus ZX5, and I was wondering if anybody knows how to loosen the timing chain so I can get the camshaft off...?

Pictures would be appreciated, but are not mandatory.

thank you@!

Comes off with the sprockets. Why replace though? Doesn't need to be unless its actually damaged.

So, to take it off, you would just need to unscrew the sprockets?

Alright, thanks.

I need to check out my camshaft because I have a weird thumping coming from out of my engine...
