SD Card Slot - 64 GB SDXC
Hello everyone.

I have a Ti Hatch with the SD card slot but no navigation. I would like to therefore insert an SD card with all my music collection there but I was wondering whether the Focus will recognize a 64 GB SDXC card. I need at least 40 GB for my music collection and my understanding is that a regular SD card goes up to only 32 GB.

Why not use a thumb drive?

I guess I could but since the SD card slot is there (and not being used otherwise), I thought "why not use that for my music" and reserve the USB slot for my WIFI and as an extra charger for a phone.

No, it will not. I'm guessing by "regular SD" you mean SDHC cards. SD cards only go up to 4GB.

the SD card will not protrude like a thumbdrive. the biggest low-profile thumb drive i can find is 32 gb.

I use a 32gig card and it works just fine. Try it out and see is the only advice I can offer. I hope this helps.

You can tether MFT to your phone via bluetooth so all your buddies can connect via wifi and use your data plan instead of theirs.

I have a 64GB card so I can try it out for you and see if MFT even recognizes that the car is there, I'll let you know when I try it.
