trying to fit 225/45/16 tires on 08 coupe

Anyone able to do this on any 05+ models? Im having a problem with hitting the coilover tower. rims on now are 16x7 +42 offset, im pretty sure that could also be my problem. Any advice would be appreciated trying to do this for an autox event coming up.

Thanks

Nope it's a combo of the wheel offset and the tire width, if you want that tire to for you need at least a +38 offset or more
