Swaping stock regular lights with stock projectors

I have a neighbor with an '02 with "air craft headlights" look like projectors to me. he says the bulbs are $65 ea so he want's to get rid of them. I offered to swap him for my regular stock '04 headlights.

My question is are they a direct swap or will I have to do some sort of wiring conversion? the housings are the same and he says they were on the car whan he bought it new in 02 and are not after market.

Is his car a svt? If so they are Machs. Very desirable. Post pics and we can help better.

If they are "Machs" they are not plug and play for a Focus that doesn't have Machs, Euros from the SVT Euro, or ST170s. I'm sure there is a how-to here and/or on FJ, as f250 said, they are very desirable, and sell, used, for $300 and up. Good luck

I won't be able to get pics any time soon so.
He did not have the SVT fog lights, it's 4 door, and has an "awsome" stock stero system and automatic trans.

They had 4 round bulb housings. I would guess high, low beams, blinker and ?marker light?

That is where the factory HID's were first used. The SVT got them after the 'Mach Edition' Focus.

Still the same deal with swapping them though. Need wiring changes to both cars.

That's the right fogs and if those lights are shaped the same as the regular focus then yes. I would just have to rewire his lights with my sockets and vise versa.
He only wants to trade them because of the cost of the bulbs. So I thought I would do him the favor.

Thanks for the help. I will have to inform him of the wiring requirements. I don't want to cut in to wiring with out warning him first.

It's really not all that hard and definitely worth it if he's offering them as a trade. I got my VW plugs off a salvage 200? VW Passat at a junk yard; it was much cheaper than buying new.

Has to be a mach if its an auto with those headlights. I wish I had a neighbor to trade premium parts with!!!
