I was thinking about getting a set of these for my Sterling Grey 2012 hatch. what do you guys think?

I like the motegi's, but you see them on a lot of imports here in Seattle. I personally think that the Grey ones would look better on your car. Have you looked at tirerack.com? They have a HUGE selection.

I can't really speak to winter vs summer, I just use chains when I need to, but I'm on stock steelies

I not a fan of the wheels with a colored stripe along the rim, they rarely compliment the car. I'd vote for the second set. Just keep looking and take your time picking something you know you will be happy with. Like matmat said, shop around!

Shame.


ABout running them in the winter...I wouldn't if you live in a sand/salt area. After one winter, my Konigs had some little rust spots on them.

That wouldnt work for me then. This place is terrible for salt in the winter. Maybe I'll get the Motegi wheels and run them in the summer, and run my stockers all winter. They seem to stand up pretty good to the elements.

If I were to get the second set, It would be for winter use only. They are a 50 dollar a piece wheel, not exactly show material. ;)

first set would be ok without the stripe, second set looks like a generic aftermarket wheel- ugly
