Exclamation anyone successfully gotten lemon law to take care of ford focus 2012 tranny problems!!!
filing a lemon law suit against Ford over the powertrain/transmission problems. Anyone else get it dealt with yet?????

Yeah I've been commenting on that thread, I was thinking the OP was requesting info on a lemon law proceeding only. Kinda sucks for the guy in the Escape unless he needs all the extra room, he's paying another 7k or so more for it I'd guess since he said they only took care of taxes and fees etc. but he still had to pay the difference.

Sure but he's happy. Built on the same platform, so he likes the performance, he likes the extra room and he likes the fact that it's just a traditional slushbox and not the DCT.

So, he's not really out any money, if he had gotten the Escape to start with he'd still be paying that difference.

I agree completely. I am hoping to get another Focus(manual) or something else comparable, I'm going to be talking to the Ford customer service rep that I have been dealing with on Monday to see what my options are. I hope they can offer me something like what they offered him, but without any more cost. Which subsequently is the reason I am interested in the OP's topic as well.

Be careful - Ford tries to build their losses into another car. It happened to me and I opted to go the lemon law route.

I wonder if he is happy with the three serious recalls on the Escape within two months.
