How do you get rid of hard water spots?

I washed it and the spots are still there. Any thoughts on how to get rid of them?

For the glass I mix a little white vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spray the glass then wipe it with a microfiber towel.

Best thing to do for the paint is to dry your car as quickly and completely as possible after washing. I also use the vinegar on the paint as well. It is very effective.

Will the vinegar hurt the wax? Also I go the spots from a rain shower? Go figure.

What about a glass cleaner? would that hurt anything? This is a new car to me and it has a good wax job on it.

I also have spots on both the paint and windows. So blue windex will remove the spots?
