Titanium fogs

Before anyone flames, yes, I've searched. I've found several threads on how to remove the standard fog light surrounds to make them look like the Ti fogs, but I want to know if the chrome part on the front of the Ti fogs is removable by itself. I took some time this weekend and covered all of the chrome trim pieces with matte black vinyl, but I still have the small part of the fogs left. Any help would be appreciated!

It should be, though I haven't tried. They are two pieces.

I just wonder how hard it is to get them apart. Do I need to remove both pieces to make it easier, or will they come apart easily enough to allow me to pull the chrome piece out, paint it, and press it back into place.

Okay, FYI if anyone is interested, the front chrome piece on the Ti fogs is extremely easy to remove. I simply took a plastic interior trim removal tool and inserted it behind the chrome bezel, in front of the lens, and just pried out gently. I pried the inner side out first, then just slid it out. There are 3 (three) tabs that hold it in place, one on the inner side of the ring, and 2 on the outer side, one towards the top and one towards the bottom. So now there's no more chrome, tell me what you think...

Thanks. Now I just need to decide what to do with my calipers. I don't want to do red like everyone else. I'm actually thinking of adding orange as a third color to my car. Not like a bright, hunter orange, but more like the color Nissan user, like a burnt copper. Haven't decided yet.

Looks good, did you end up removing the chrome ring to cover it with vinyl?

If you're asking me, mine are covered with Plastidip. I did remove them, it made it a lot easier. The pop right off. Might need to get a flat head screwdriver behind them, but it took minimal effort. Just the chrome part itself pops off, unless you want to do the whole bezel.

There are a ton of people that would kill for the TI bezels, why not just swap?
